Jean Blackwell serves as librarian for the QSEN Project Team. She has assisted with creating the QSEN website, maintaining the annotated bibliographies, and providing information services for the project team. As an expert searcher and library liaison to UNC Hospitals, she has extensive experience finding the best evidence to support quality improvement and patient safety projects.

Ms. Blackwell has been involved with the Family Practice Inquiries Network (www.FPIN.org) as librarian co-author for Clinical Inquiries published in the Journal of Family Practice. She is the co-editor of Introduction to Reference Sources in the Health Sciences, 5th Edition (2008), a textbook for health sciences librarians.
