Program Experience

Pre-licensure (AD and BS Programs) and RN-BS Programs

QSEN Expertise

Much of my QSEN work has focused on pre-licensure curriculum development, with an emphasis on threading the competencies and KSAs across the classroom setting, skills/simulation lab and clinical rotations.  For the past two years, I have worked on integrating QSEN into pre-licensure curricula including course development, faculty development and integration of QSEN into clinical evaluation tools.  Recently I have been involved in the development of interprofessional educational projects that facilitate nurses working  with other healthcare professionals in simulated and clinical learning settings.

Competency Expertise

Patient-centered care

Teamwork & Collaboration

Teaching Expertise

My teaching is evenly divided across all three of these teaching settings: didactic, skills/simulation lab, clinical teaching

Research Expertise

I contributed to a National Delphi Study of creating a developmental progression for the KSAs.
